Butterfly Pillowcase

Granted, it’s something super simple, but meh, wife likes it, heh.

And woops! Didn’t have the stitch length right, meh, still learning.

Ok! Have a moment to think.

This was actually a good thing to make (before I start the shirt). It gave me a lot of…erm…ideas to make it easier.

  1. The Fiskar’s ruler I got helped to measure out the end piece while I was ironing it on a surface too small for it.
  2. I used a lot of needles, but still not enough to hold it all together while sewing. (So hopefully I’ll remember that and use a lot more needles with the shirt).
  3. Let the sewing machine move the fabric, and only adjust when needed. Also, stop and go frequently. (This will be helpful on long pieces, and definitely something I need to perfect before I start on something as big as a blanket).

Nicely done! I love the fabric. Can’t wait to see the shirt when it’s done.
