Catholic School Plaid Jacket

Six years ago, I made a jacket for my son’s school principal using the uniform plaid skirts/pants. It was a hoot!

Last summer (I know, it took me way too long to get around to it, but there was no rush), I was asked to make another one. I guess the principal of a nearby school is good friends with our principal and was quite jealous of his fancy jacket. Another mom at our school works at the other school and asked my SIL to ask me if I’d make another. I don’t normally do commissions, but I said ‘yes.’

I wish I had better pictures, but she picked it up the day after I finished it.

It’s AMAZING! And quite a generous offering of your time and skills!

Thanks! The time commitment really held me back from starting this, but once I did start, I was done in about a week. It was worth it, though, because it was really appreciated. And, it was really amusing (again) to make a man’s jacket out of skirts.
