@lovelymiss sent me a sweet little cross stitch kit as part of the winter Nerd Games. I have never tried cross stitch before, so I figured why not. I like cats, I like books, it is a sweet design. It was a super calming project, and I love how it turned out. Now I just need to figure out how to finish it. I’m thinking a bookmark, but haven’t worked out the logistics of how to do that just yet.
That would be a purr-fect book mark! Nice job on your first cross stitch project. It turned out great!

What a great first project! I am sure you will want to do more!
I take a piece of felt and cut a piece of cardboard(thin) to sandwich between. I then stitch a border to close it. You can tuck the aida cloth under for a neat finish, or, like me, just fringe it a bit.

Completely adorable. The money plant is instantly recognizable too, I’ve got one that’s looking just like that on the mantle.
