I have enjoyed drawing Celtic knots in the past so I was intrigued by this project. The cord was easy enough to crochet but following the diagram to make the knot just boggled my mind :face_with_spiral_eyes:. I finally just used the diagram to get started and then worked with it without the diagram until it was right. I could not tell you how I did it :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:.

Instead of the crocheted backing shown on the project page, I sewed these to felt.

I rather like the look on the felt more I believe.

Also Celtic knots remind me of my friend Barry who was very much into all things Irish and Ireland. He died when I was 19 so without even realizing it, you created something for me that holds meaning. :heart:
