At some point, I decided that any time I make some little sculptural or figurine piece, I want it to have a secondary interesting thing…. which means they usually become little rattles/shakers or they become whistles/ocarinas. These birds got to be ocarinas!!
I have five of them, but I just realized I have no photos of all of them together! Doh!
These are very cute! I love the practical use as well. AlAre they actually functional as ocarinas?

I’ve always been fascinated by ocarina figurines. A bird figurine that sings makes a lot of sense.
