Chook Driftwood Shirt

I have been eyeing Twig + Tale’s driftwood shirt pattern and finally decided to try it out.

I used an adorable chicken fabric I bought on a destash FB fabric group.

The pattern was easy to follow. I’m going to be using it again (maybe today…heh) but I think I’ll omit the keyhole next time and just bind the collar without the ties for a more simple design.

I’m going to try tomorrow. I started and almost finished a linen side split wrap skirt today. I’m hoping to hem the skirt tomorrow. I want to make a driftwood shirt to go with it so if I can squeeze it in tomorrow, I will.

Such a cute, comfy blouse! That skirt is not too shabby either, from what I can see of it.
