Christmas In March

There’s a madlibs event as part of the Winter 2025 Nerd Games craft-along. You use a ransomizer for the words and then have to craft something that works for the prompt. I got (madlibs words are bolded):

Tapestry wanted to make a food-themed craft using or inspired by plastic.
It featured a variety of colors including silver and white. Everyone remarked how bold and jolly it looked when they gazed upon the finished project.

At first I wasn’t sure what to make, but then the idea of silver and white made me think of snowflake cookies. Jolly already had me thinking of Christmas so it seemed like a good fit. Plus painting plastic is a challenge. I’m not entirely happy with the plastic bag in this piece, but I love the overall feel of the painting. It will be offered up in my STS shop this fall.

This is darling! I love how you interpreted that mad lib, especially a cello bag as the “plastic.” So creative!
