I feel like most cookies are separated, whereas things like bars are one big hunk cut apart?

I will sign up tomorrow. I just didn’t find the time to sit down and answer the questionnaire yet.

I need to make time to bake some cookies.

Last day for sign-ups! I’ll close the swap at 11pm CST this evening.

Tagging those that expressed interest: @stitchandstones, @pinkpeach, @chameleonhound, @TheMistressT, @MistressJennie, @momiemae, @Shadowseann, @gozer, @AIMR, @kayrun.

This should be a quick, easy swap that’s low commitment and envelope based so shipping isn’t an issue.

@TheMistressT - I know you said you probably couldn’t. Just tagging you incase your dance card opened up.

Sooooo, would something a little dimensional be OK? Since I don’t draw, I think I would have to go with some kind of layered paper medium.

I think layered paper or collage would be perfect. Decorated doesn’t have to mean completely flat, just envelope mailable.

I have several ideas and not all of them are completely flat.

Sweet! I’ll send in my questionnaire!

I have one go-to cookie that I make for holiday giving. I also make a fudge for these times and people who have known me awhile, know me for these. I have a cookie recipe that is TheMisterT’s favorite of his mom’s. What makes them holiday? I make them for holiday! I hope this is acceptable since I have already signed up! Of course, I can do other recipes that aren’t ones I am known for!

I would think this would count. I also love fudge around the holidays, so to me I consider “Holiday Cookies” really anything you can put in a tin and gift.

I think any kind of cookie is fine. It doesn’t HAVE to be associated with the winter holidays. If you could bake and gift it and it’s in the cookie family it qualifies.

I’ve been waffling about this since you first posted it, and can’t resist a baking-themed paper swap like this. Q is on its way!

Christmas cookies is a massive tradition here in Germany. I’ll probably be sharing a recipe from my mom’s recipe book. There are also gluten free and dairy free options in there.

Partners have been assigned! Please check your inboxes and the partners post above to make sure everything looks good and you have the swap questionnaires for the people you should.

So excited to see what everyone makes!!!

Woo! I am so excited to swap with @stitchandstones and @wittychild ! I will probably not be able to start until the 26th or 27th as I have a friend arriving to stay next week. BUT I already have ideas brewing.

I bought some gluten free flour today so I can test some of my fave cookie recipes with it.
