Closet Organizor [WIP]

Concepts:

  1. Fabric doesn’t matter, so thrift store sheets, whatever would work.
  2. Simple design for a confined living space for materials and construction.

Materials:

  1. Two 1/2" - 1" eyelets. (Would be best to lessen ripping and tearing of the cloth while it hanges).
  2. A rod 2/3’s the length of the door. (This would actually be better than the eyelets as there would be far less chance of the fabric ripping during reaching, stretching, pulling).

Designs:

Similar to a shoe organizer, with the added option of inserting cardboard on the underside for extra stability.

A. Would be the easiest, but lacks storage space.
B. Would be the most difficult, and most likely would require the cardboard inserts be in strips verses full pieces.
C. Would be possible by bending the cardboard before inserting, and still would give more storage space than A.

This idea is mostly a thought for socks, dainties, and other small items that, quite frankly, I don’t need an entire dresser, drawer unit for as I can hang up everything else.

Good design and thoughts. We use a back of the door shoe storage for all our gloves and such in the coat closet. It was originally used to hold yarn.

I like the idea of a hanging sysyem to hold underwear, socks, etc. Very efficient. And the ability to customize to your needs makes it perfect.
