This summer season of the Nerd Games has been so fun, and the little clothespin challenge made me get out of my comfort zone!
Here are our two past kitties, Rupert and Monkey.
I had planned on painting them, but I wanted to finish before August was over and I’m at a festival all weekend, and colored pencils seemed way more portable!
(I had cut and glued on paper ears a day or two ago)
I would never have guessed you used colored pencils! They look fantastic and so detailed.
Thank you! They were Prismacolor, which I think are more waxy than most, as far as pencils go. I was glad they showed up on the wood!

I love the idea of using color pencils. As gozer said, they were great for the details. Plus, they came out so vibrant! And I really like the grass base.
