So much wonderful stuff. Sorry I have been MIA. I have a pretty bad back injury at the moment and today is probably the first day I have had energy to do anything.
Such a beautiful assortment of blue goodies! The pin cushion is fantastic!
My fabulous fabulous package arrived today from @Magpie the post folk really took their time with this, but it was totally worth the wait.
Look at how beautifully it was packaged, with this fabric and this awesome ‘ribbon’ strip, so clever!
First out of the package was this really lovely bag, I’m always in awe of how well @Magpie sews, it’s so well done. This is a perfect size, with two really handy pockets at the sides. Teal/turquoise was my colour.
Next this set of lovely drinks coasters, these are pretty and really sturdy. Lovely batiks with a really nice contrast on the back
Then this super needle book, flaming heart!!! I love it. And the dinkiest little scissors in the back.
And then the most amazing sun catcher… This is so me and already in the window.
And the loveliness just kept coming!!
These really beautiful earrings. On a masterboard, the envelope was also a masterboard. That’s been added to my stash
And the card is adorable, I love how is done on a book page.
And if that wasn’t all enough, she sent me the pages from a witches calendar. Perfect for me to keep track of the months.
And finally the most special thing of all. She sent me this wonderful jade cabuchon, that her father polished. I was beyond humbled that I received this and I’ve a plan to bring it to a jewelry maker that I know and have it made into a ring.
Thank you soooooo so much @Magpie, I literally squeed when I picked up the package and was totally overwhelmed by the amazingness inside

Yay! Finally arrived, that was a long month and a half, whew. And just what you always needed, another pair of scissors 
K, the scrappy paper ribbon and the bits glued to the card are from a swap with @loves2experiment, the watercolour book page is from @Belladune in the very first papery swap I ever did on C-ster. The bag fabric I bought to make you a replacement purse for the one I sent you ages ago that wore out, the needle book I’ve been working on for even longer than that, ha! And the suncatcher, working on it for ages. AGES! This was the perfect swap for wrapping up WIPs. The coasters are QAYG on thick felt, it works so great for coasters.
I am so pleased to hear your plans for the jade. He cut, rounded, and polished that stone. Tomorrow in the light I will take a photo of the beveled glass window he made with jade “fruit” and post it later.

Here is Dad’s beveled glass window with 88 leaves & 33 jade fruits.
He built the machines to cut & bevel the glass & the stones, he used amethyst in some pieces.
He was a genius, my Dad.
Show me your ring @Edel, that’s such a wonderful idea. I have more pieces, it would be lovely to make rings for my sister, daughter & I.
