What is everyone’s spring time flower?
Mine is honeysuckle. There was tons of honeysuckle where I grew up. it smelled so good.

I love wildflowers in general. The fields of bluebonnets are always gorgeous in the spring here in Texas.

Coltsfoot are usually the first sign of spring to me. Maybe snowdrops too. Wood anemones are just so lovely when it looks like the forest floor is full of white stars.
Best scent: Lily of the Valley.

Still contemplating this one.
My fav springtime flower would be dandelion. Because it’s earliest food for the bees, has all sorts of edible and medicinal properties, and when they seed you can blow wishes on them lol. (Also is just all i could think of in the moment)

As for springtime flowers, I love seeing the hills dotted with California poppies. When I see a bunch blanketing the ground I point and call out “Superbloom!”. At which point, my husband will typically tell me that’s not a superbloom, lol. If you are unfamiliar with the term ‘superbloom,’ Wikipedia defines it as “a rare desert botanical phenomenon in California and Arizona in which an unusually high proportion of wildflowers…blossom at roughly the same time.”

Just sent in my Q! One of my favorite spring flowers is crocus - they’re an early bloomer and don’t last long, but definitely a sentinel of spring!

Daffodils are my second favorite. I grew up at the bottom of a wooded hilly area and there was an abandoned old homestead up the hill that the daffodils had gone wild and bloomed everywhere.

Hyacinths! They smell so heavenly. A weird thing I do…In the spring I’ll pick one little flower each day and set it on my water bottle. Every time I take a drink I get to smell its beauty.
