It’s been ages since I made a friendship bracelet, so when I had leftover floss from the 2025 Summer Nerd Games Arts & Crafts Club kit, I used the cool colors of the rainbow to make a basic, 4-strand bracelet. I was surprised at how quickly it went! There is a mistake or two, because the room was full of conversation, and I occasionally lost track of where I was, but otherwise, it’s not bad for a first-in-a-long-time effort! I gifted it to my friend of 40 years!
That looks great.
Love the colors! It’s been almost four decades since I made a friendship bracelet as well!
Thanks, @Tapestry and @gozer! I really loved the soft color combo and wanted to keep it, but it needed to be given away ![]()
I had to look up directions for how to make one, but once I got the hang of it (and started counting to 6 to keep track of my knots), it went quickly. It would have been very meditative if I wasn’t in a room full of people ![]()
Such a pretty bracelet! I bet your friend was tickled with this blast from the past.
I offered it up to the group and was surprised when she asked for it right away! She wore it for the rest of the day ![]()

This is so pretty
it takes me back to a long hot summer in my teens, making friendship bracelets on a safety pin attached to my trousers queueing at the theme park.
I never thought about pinning it to my jeans way back when! I think I always used a clipboard.
This is fantastic!
