Cotton Candy Boomerang Shawl

In an attempt to bust some stash, I made a shawl for my SIL’s birthday…which is 7 months away. I’m really getting a head start on gifting this year!

The pattern is the Double Gradient Boomerang Shawl by Yay for Yarn. The yarn is Valley Yarns Superwash DK, and matches the fingerless mitts I made SIL last year. I had just over 4 balls of this yarn left, and it came out the perfect size.

It’s a good thing for her that these are not my colors, because this thing is so soft, squishy, and cozy.

There’s something about grey that makes me like pink more and this is the perfect example of that! It does look so cozy and comfy, too!

Thanks!

It’s actually lilac and pink, in shades almost perfectly matched to cotton candy.

I love the colors! And the fact that you say it is soft and squishy makes me love it even more!

Thanks! I like the shape, too. All the increases and decreases are at the ends of the rows, so it’s super simple, too.
