I made these pillows for my couch and chair today. Of course my mom motices that my stripes are off. Not another daggone sole in this whole world would’ve noticed it except her. Of course this was after I sewed a 4 sides together before stuffing it! I ended up inserting a zipper so I can change the covers with the seasons. I made them reversible and want to put an iron on on the plain side and make good use of my cricut Santa gave me. Trying to think of something cute to put on there. I thought about our last name and “est. 1998” but then my husband would probably say “i know our last name already” so any ideas y’all have are appreciated!

How about a silhouette of your favorite animal?
Or, a word like CHILL, RELAX, SNOOZE…
I like black and white as a backdrop for bright colors but you could use just about anything!

Great idea making them reversible, and of course some people always notice the tiny details XD
And if it was me I would probably add something I know the husband does forget, a special day, maybe something special he never does, like leaving the toilet seat up, ok maybe not something you want on the pillow in the living room, but I would maybe have done if sentimental stuff gets that reply from him XD

The darker stripes run vertically on one pillow and horizontally on the other
At opposite ends of the couch and with something else on top, no one is going to even notice.
Just say it was a design choice! 
my go-to answer is “gives it character!”
they won’t be near each other so I doubt anyone will care

yes! I’ve been perusing pinterest to get some ideas, hope to work on it tonight. Boy, does work get in the way of crafting
