Crinkly Taggie Toy

I decided to make a taggie toy for my youngest grand daughter, a few of the instructions I found talked about adding crinkle so I gave that a try.

It’s about 12” square

Top with ribbons

Back

Crinkle layer … note: don’t use a chip bag as it perforates when sewn, use a plastic milk bag or liner from crackers.

For fun I made a smaller one, without crinkle, that can be used in her car seat …

This type of crinkly was one of my g’daughter’s favorites as a baby! esp in the car seat –
well done!

Cute! I always wondered what worked in the crinkle layer. Love that you made a mini version, too.

Apparently you can buy crinkle paper but the videos I watched said to use something recycled.
