Crochet animals with beads

After making the gilder dragons, I have a lot of pony beads. Those are not something I generally have a lot of use for, so I cruised Pinterest for some inspiration and landed on some cute crocheted animals that have beads integrated into the designs. I got some patterns from Willow & Wild on Etsy and I was off!

Here’s all 3 together:

Just the octopus:

Just the hedgie:

Just the turtle:

They were fun and I’ll probably make more since I still have soooooo many beads. These are the multicolored glow in the dark beads but I also have a ton of purple. More critters to come, though now I need to figure out what to do with them all.

They are so cute!
I’m looking forward to see the next ones you’re making.

They’re very cute! If you’re really looking for what to do with them as you make them, maybe a local school or nursing home/rehab could use them for fidget items? There’s also the STS swap here in the fall.

They’re all so cute! The octo’s face is particularly cute and the beads really suit the turtle’s shell extra nicely.

Very cute. I think these would make great fidget items for those that need the handheld tactile stimulation.

So darn cute! I’m sure your students will love them.

Clever and cute!

I love all of these! I got two of the dragons and adore them. These look just as cute. Love that turtle!
