Crochet Donut Monster

This little monster was inspired by a drawing made by @Manders’s son in the Craft this in your Style craftalong!

I thought it would be fun to try to replicate it in crochet, so I sketched it out and made up my own pattern inspired by it. It was pretty fun to figure out!

Monster:
Hook - E (3.5 mm)
Yarn - Various colors of worsted weight acrylic yarns (Red Heart and similar)
Eyes - 9mm safety eyes

Donut:
Hook - C (2.75 mm)
Yarn - Mira Minis yarn

This picture shows the colors a bit better:

More pictures to see the sides and back:

The donut is even removable!

In-progress pictures:

I tried to keep decent notes, so I can try to write up the pattern some day.

That’s so cool, lots to like. A monster, a donut, inspired by art that was inspired by other art, a whole lot of awesomeness! And you made up the pattern yourself, truly cool!
