My first project started AND finished (ends and all!) in 2022 is this little owl from the Yarnspirations “Ogo Owl Trio” CAL. It calls for the OGO of bernat blanket yarn which I purchased in the “copper coins” colorway. I did end up swapping the beak out for a smaller one for several reasons, most related to user error and a free-range kid and dog show I’m trying to work around. But, I personally prefer the smaller beak on it anyhow so I’m happy.

It looks super soft! I think the beak fits him perfectly. I can’t imagine it being larger. It has a very natural and sweet colorway and vibe about it.

It is so soft and squishy. I’m really pleased with how it turned out. And also pleased with myself that I bought this yarn specifically for this project and actually made it in the timeframe I planned! I don’t even recognize my yarny self right now! Haha
