I recently switched jobs and my current job has day and night shifts but the night shifts are super boring so I can craft away.
Last night while “working” I made this doily/placemat.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. It does look a little like something a goth granny would make
I have no idea about the thickness or weight. I never think about things like that and there is no label because I bought this yarn long time ago for a different project.
It looks like 2 ply and it has a metal thread coiling around it. I used a 1.25mm hook if that helps but I could have used 1mm because the yarn is so thin.
