Crochet witch hat

I actually finished something!!!
I found some black Lion Brand Thick & Quick yarn at a local discount store for $2 a skein and I didn’t really have anything in mind to use it for. THEN, I thought about making a witch hat out of it! I couldn’t really find a pattern that I liked, so I just started crocheting, adding one stitch per round (row?) as I went until I got to the brim. I think I had enough to add another round (why doesn’t that look right? Is it only ever called a row?), but I was just over it and wanted to finish it.
I started another one, but my ADHD brain lost steam by the time I got to the brim and it’s probably going to sit in the ever growing WIP pile forever…

I love it!!! I have some black quick & thick that’s supposed to be a witch hat, but it’s been avoiding me, lol. The shape is perfect. It looks great on!

It works up so quickly!
…if you don’t decide to crochet 18 gauge wire into the last round and then have to spend three hours frogging it. :disappointed:

Adorable! I love how floppy it is while still holding the witchy shape! It looks so cozy.
