Crochet Wobble Duckie

This is a baby gift for a new August baby. The duck pattern, yarn and wobble ball were all sourced from Hobbii, but at different times. The yarn was stash.

Pattern: Tumbler Duck Alfred – Hobbii

Although I do have safety eyes I was too nervous to use them for a baby gift. This plus the yellow simple knit blanket will go together for the little human’s welcome gift.

Thanks for looking!

I love the way you did the eyes! I also worry about the “safety” eyes…I started using glue as an extra caution since I read some scary reports on these imported eyes!

Your duck is so cute…and I do love a good crochet duck!

It will be a splendid addition to that lovely blanket as well…something practical and something fun!

I like the way you did the eyes. They look sweet and innocent. I also agree about safety eyes. I just wouldn’t trust them for a baby. I think both the ducky & the blacket are sweet gifts.

What a wonderful gift. I prefer stitched eyes on baby toys, too.

Thank you!

We gave it to the new (again) mom (this is her 4th) yesterday and she was so pleased. Mission accomplished!
