Crocheted and beaded Jellyfish

Hosted my first swap (Sea Life swap) and my partner received already. This was a fun one to make. I love the addition of the beads as part of the tentacles. I’m already making a second one for my Mom, as requested.

I used this tutorial: Susan's Family

Fun and fanciful!

Very cool! Crocheted form captured the floofy nature of jellyfish well!

This is so pretty! The beads bring such a delicate texture to them

Pretty! The beads are a great addition!

I agree -the beads are a lovely addition! And congrats on hosting your first swap. :purple_heart:

So cute!

It looks so fancy with the beading. Does it make sound? I’d love to see the pink one completed as well.

Originally, the tutorial had metal windchimes included. I opted to add more crocheted tentacles instead. The beads make a soft sound when they bump into each other. Almost done with the pink one. I’ll add photos here once I am done.

I love it! It’s so pretty. I kind of want to put it in a dedicated sea-themed area of my house.

I love the different textures with the yarn, tulle, pearls and other beads. Very nicely done!

I’m sad I had to sit this one out but I’ve been greatly enjoying the gallery. I hope you keep hosting swaps as you’re able!
