Crocheted Dishcloths

These are the latest dish clothes I have made.
The first one is using an alternating single/double stitch (explained here), the second one is a waffle stitch and the 3rd is your basic puff/bobble stitch. All are using I Love this cotton yarn.

Nice! I like the yarn color on the bobble stitch one! I like all 3 patterns, but I imagine that the single/double one was the quickest!

Those are very neat!! Do you just throw them in the wash to clean?

Yep! They stand up well to washing. I now only use homemade Cotten dishcloths. The colors do fade over time.

Those are really nice! I like the blues.

They’re just lovely, and the yarn is so soft! I’ve only ever used Sugar and Cream cotton for dishcloths, and it ends up kind of stiff. I have these in my washer right now and I can’t wait to use them!

How do you like the waffle stitch cloth for washing dishes with? Are the ridges good for scrubbing?

I haven’t actually made one for myself yet so I’m not sure. I should fix that!
