Cross-Stitch Christmas Stocking

My mom was the one who taught me how to cross-stitch. She had stitched each of us Christmas stockings with our names on them. It was possible for the first 5 of us, but when she got to numbers 6 and 7, she didn’t have the time.

My youngest sibling didn’t have a personalized stocking for years, so I designed her one in a free cross-stitch pattern maker, using a bunch of different motifs I found. (I read the Kirsten American Girl books growing up, which is why I chose the wreath of candles for St. Lucia Day).

Is it too early for holiday crafts? Yes. BUT ALSO…crafting presents takes FOR-E-VER.
