Made for @artsycandice in the Halloween Advent swap. It’s stitched on orange linen from the scrap bag.
The pattern is based on a drawing I found on Google but altered a little bit here and there.

Yes, it’s a regular wooden hoop that I painted with an acrylic paint marker. I’m not really good at using real paint so paint markers are great for me. I use them all the time to paint hoops and frames in the right colour.

It’s not embroidery linen but I think a scrap from a pair of trousers my mum made in the 90s. I love the texture.

Very nice! The simplicity of the crow really lets the viewer appreciate the lines of the crow AND the beautiful linen.
