It’s Canson Mi-Teintes and I was working on the smooth side. I think the trick is to not use too much pan pastel and fill up the tooth of the paper so you can layer on top of it.

Thank you for all the kind words everyone! I am so proud of how this turned out, it’s probably the best thing I’ve made so far.
I was “storing” it on my wall while waiting to send and was sad when I had to take it down 
. I guess I’ll just have to make some art for my own wall
