So I don’t know if any of your households got hit with the KPop Demon Hunters movie but boy oh boy did our house get hit. I was so sure that my girls were going to want to dress up as Huntrx so I decided to make my Derpy costume to join them. Low and behold, I was the only one to dress up from the movie but that’s okay because I work at a school and the kids loved my costume.
I made the head and the pot (that he keeps knocking over) out of paper mache and the bird out of felt. I made the “body” by getting sweats and a sweater and sewing felt to it. You can’t see but the back of my legs have stripes as well. And I used fabric and felt to make the tail.
It was my first time making a paper mache head and I gotta say, it was really fun and might incorporate it for next years costume lol.
