I’m not naturally inclined to “just make something.” The what-am-I-going-to-do-with-it of it all is deeply imbedded in me. But I have forced allowed myself to use the dies I’ve collected even without an immediate use for them over the last couple of years. For me, they still count as a documentable project and I will document them here in an ongoing list rather than each in their own topic.
These are about 5-6" long. The handles and “screw” have Glossy Accents on them to give them both shine and some extra dimension.
Vivienne has an awkwardly shaped, large gift to give TheMisterT for his spring birthday. It has been hidden in a black yard debris bag and will be “wrapped” in that, tied with string. To class it up a smidgen, I made this quick tag with a die I was given by a dear friend.
Oxidized Portholes! When I got to cutting them, I wondered if I could use embossing powders to make them look oxidized: verdigris on the bronzy paper, rust on the steely paper. I think they ended up pretty cool looking!
I couldn’t resist this roast turkey die set! For some reason, I just find roast turkey imagery HILARIOUS. Of course, I couldn’t wait to try it out. Then I couldn’t resist making fancy candlesticks and tapers to go with. Obvs.
YEY! A friend that I showed these to via a video message thought they were real, too!

I am always amazed at what can be made with paper. These scissors are so cool and will make a wonderful addition to things you attach them to. Can’t wait to see more!
Thank you! There is so much potential in these little things.

An artist friend of mine got a Cri-cut for Christmas. He is doing a huge art piece using things he designed. I got to see a sneak peek. When he takes it to the gallery, I can show it. It is amazing how creative they can be in unexpected ways.
Electronic cutting machines are a marvel! I have barely scratched the surface of what I can do with mine. These are die-cut though: with physical dies on a Sizzix.
