Die Cut Embellishments/Fodder

I did a solo road trip back “home” last week and took my Sizzix Big Shot, a few dies, a bulging packet of paper scraps and some glue with me. I had a couple-few sessions of sitting at a hostess’s dining table cutting a gluing and came up with multiples of a few shapes.

A bunch of rosette prize ribbons and a party hat, followed by several wrapped gifts.

At my second location, my hostess offered me the opportunity to dig through her scraps, too! So a few of the above items include hers. My travel scraps were all rather wee, but hers were larger and so I took the opportunity to make some envelopes with enclosures.

I made them with the expectation that I will further embellish them in the future which I also expect to do with at least some of the prize ribbons.

That’s a cool idea for a travel project!

Other people’s scraps are always so much more fun than your own.
