I know it’s new, but I can’t imagine your desk ever NOT having a caddy this bright and cheerful! You were so meant to have this fabric, and this is such a good project for it. Now you have this and the thread catcher, I wonder about another materials-holder on the desk in the same fabric, to tie it all together, or bring in some cool colours, because rainbow. Maybe use the same fabric for some storage that hangs from the wall, so there are these bright bursts of colour in different places.
