DIY Apple Watch Band

Jewelry making isn’t 100% my skill set. I’ve dabbled in it, but I mostly knit / crochet. For Christmas, Santa got me my first Apple Watch. I think the silicone sport bands will be my daily go-to, but for the occasions I dress up, I do want something dressier. There are so many different bands out there, but nothing 100% my style.

I saw this YouTube video tutorial and it seems simple enough to create a fun beaded version on stretch elastic. I saw where I can buy the adapters on Amazon, but what kind of elastic should I be using? What kind of knot to attach it to the adapter?

She uses a Stretch cord knot…the beads will cover it when you do this…you will have to stretch the beads at the other end to make the knot and then slip the beads back over it…jewelry elastic…shown in the video and available at most big stores like Joann’s , etc.
