For the recent grab bag swap I decided to make some faux washi tape inspired by this Roxy Creations video from Junk Journal July.
Apparently I didn’t take any process pictures, but basically I made a couple of masterboards by smooshing paint between a couple of dictionary pages and then doodling in the leftover white space. Then I applied double-stick tape to the back and cut between the tape to create washi strips. I used 1/2-inch tape; the wider strips in the photo have two pieces of tape.
Of course, my pieces were too long to fit in the envelope I wanted to use, so I had to trim them down. The smaller pieces in the photo are the offcuts that were still good enough to send
