Dnd Dice Bag

My hubby and I had a … discussion about who had more dice. Mind you, he’s been playing TTRPGs since Original DnD some 40 years ago. I’ve been playing for like 12 years. But I’m obsessed with collecting shiny things, so I thought I had a chance (spoiler alert, I did not win).

He had somewhere in the neighborhood of 450 individual dice. I “only” had 380 (I have since gotten 7 more sets to try to close that gap).

With that comes the problem of storing them so I know what is what. And then came a need to try a new skill for the Nerd Games, and I attempted Mosaic Crochet for the first time. @storerboughtcreation was super helpful and gave me a simple heart pattern, and I was just going to do that as a stand alone piece, and then I remembered… I need that on a dice bag!

So behold, my first attempt at Mosaic Crochet (it went fine, I have been crocheting for 40 years, but I will admit this was just so intimidating until I started it, and then I was like "oh, I see why she likes it so much!):

I love that not only were you able to acquire a new skill (yay mosaic!), but that you created this amazing dice bag from the chart I shared with you! This worked out well for the dice you are keeping in it. :hearts:

Adorable!

He may have more dice, but I bet soon you will have the most and the most adorable dice bags! Nice work…and so kind and generous for @storerboughtcreation to share her skills and pattern!

Congrats on conquering a new skill! It’s especially satisfying to create for a collection, isn’t it?

It came out adorable and it matches those snazzy dice so well!
