DnD Painted Minis

Started trying to get into painting minis for all the TTRPGs we play, we’ve come a long way from using little peg dolls (though sometimes I still miss the simple cartoony nature of them, especially my gnome and bear).

They look good IRL with my old can’t see detail eyes, but boy do the pictures show all the imperfections!

Beardo von Dwarfington, the sidekick to Dwarfette MacDwarvish:

The other dwarf that came in the package with Beardo:

And two other random NPCs I painted to try to practice my technique:

You clearly put a lot of work into these. They must’ve taken a decent amount of time, especially considering their size. I’m especially impressed by the shields and how you’ve really given them some depth and dimension!

Haha, yeah, they take a ridiculous amount of time but I find it weirdly relaxing? I can sit and paint for 2-3 hours and just zen out.

They look great! Not sure if you have a lamp yet but my husband is just getting into painting miniatures and I got him this magnifying lamp that he loves.

These are not easy to paint. You did a fantastic job!

Very cool! Great job!
