Terrain and magnetic tiles were something we’d talked about doing forever, but never really took the plunge… until now!
Using Wyloch’s Armory instructions, we made a bunch of magnetic tiles with 1.25” squares (he makes it look so easy, but it takes forever!) and then… the scatter!
The books are a bit out of scale, and I made way too many loot bags because they were just that fun! Those were based on a tutorial, as well, using a flat-back marble and paper towel.
Then we needed some specific pieces for the campaign…
Coffins made from stir sticks and the sarcophagus was clay molded people (their faces are weird because I had a mold and didn’t trust myself to come close to sculpting a face, so we’re calling those masks…).
And, finally, some loot chests!
Then! We had a challenge for the Nerd Games to use a round cookie cutter as part of the Summer Camp Arts and Crafts project…
So I made a fountain! Is it a little wonky? Yes. I might some day be brave enough to try to put some kind of resin water in it, but for now it’s an old broken down abandoned fountain.
I look forward to trying more stuff and hopefully getting better… it takes a lot of patience and practice to get some of this stuff right! Please feel free to share any great tutorial channels you know of!
