I’m curious if anyone is using the monthly donation option? I can’t give a big chunk, but spreading it out over the year is totally doable. @sweets4ever - do you have a preference?

Three people have recurring monthly payments setup currently. I appreciate any and all donations, but recurring is kind of nice for me because I know (unless they cancel, of course) what to expect month to month/moving forward. Single donations are one and done, so to speak, so I just hope they return to support again in the future. 
But really, everyone’s finances are totally different, so I’m happy with any support!

There are a ton of super talented artists here.
I think there’s an opportunity for site merch to be a convenient method of upping engagement and collecting additional revenue if done right. Particularly if a click, print, ship style website was used.

You dont get a lot of the profits from places like that. We don’t run ads and try to keep everything free here. I think donations work as long as people continue to give.

I just set up a small monthly donation! Ads eat every other site alive and I’m so grateful LC has been able to stay free of them, and hope we all can continue rallying to keep it that way. Thank you for all you do to give us a safe and wonderful internet home.

It occurs to me could you add a banner to appear on the site when you log on, a few times a year. Similar to Wikipedia. To prompt people to donate if they haven’t done so in a while
