aka “Vote for donkeys, not jack@$$es”
I made this to wear to the polls on election day.
A wearable toile of a new-to-me pattern. Even as a trial garment, of course I had to match the donkeys at the center front.
Pattern: Butterick 6824.
I think I altered every pattern piece…lowered the darts, took in the center back, shortened the sleeve cap, reduced the width of the collar, altered the yoke for high back curvature, took in the side seams, and took them in again.
Fabric: Quilter’s Showcase Donkeys on Blue Cotton Fabric

YEY for wearable muslins! Your donkey shirt deserved the care you took in matching across the center front.

Once again that pattern matching is the stuff of legend. That precision!
The pattern matching in the front is next level. I can’t even begin to picture how I would manage that feat. Awesome shirt!
It looks great, and that pattern matching is perfect.
