Doodle-y Sympathy Card

I made this greeting card for a friend.

I started with four color scribbles using Distress Crayons and then added water for a watercolor effect.

Afterward I stamped 4 flower shapes on top of the color blobs…in some cases several times because the stamp and I were having a disagreement. Then I added doodley details for the stems and plants and a bit of actual watercolor.

I cut the sentiment with my Silhouette Cameo and glued the word “sympathy” over a torn strip of vellum.

This is so pretty…sympathy cards are hard, but you struck a perfect balance of sentiment and decoration.
