Love those little horns! And the face is adorable!
That is so cute! I love the eyes and horns. Such a pretty base color, too! What’s used for the fiber around the face? Great texture!
Sorry I’m late to the gallery! Just realized I didn’t have it bookmarked.
Wow! So many different and creative things happening here. Very organic and beautiful.
The fluff is eyelash yarn-- @Smmarrt said it went a little Bob Ross on her, which I can see, but with the horns/antennae it looks a lot like a fluffy moth to me.
Yes, a variegated eyelash yarn. The green shade is underneath and I should’ve cut off the brown bit. And the horns, which I attempted to make out of paper clay, is a pipe cleaner covered in lunch bag paper and twisted. So much easier!
I received from @EriChanHime this wonderful dotee based on my famous women theme. Ms Phyllis Latour was a WWII British flight mechanic and was recruited as a spy. She posed as a young girl selling goats milk soap to German soldiers and gathering troop information. She kept the codes on a piece of silk wrapped around a knitting needle hidden in a shoelace stuck in her hair. So brave.
She is wonderfully detailed and I love her knitting needles and yarn, and soap, of course! Note the coded message in her ribbon.
Thank you so much.
Oh my! Look at all those details. And her dress is amazing. I love the buttons.
I received this adorable Cass Elliot for my 60’s music theme from @curiousfae! In an odd coincidence, I’d just been listening to her on Spotify before I received the package. How wild!
(I can’t get the photo to rotate on my phone, apologies for her space floatiness!)
I love her mod dress, and how clever are those rick rack flowers on her perfectly floppy hat?!
The tambourine is so clever - sequins slipped through slits! And that cute little necklace. Lots of fun details on this groovy chick!
Thank you!
Wow!! Two awesome ladies to add to the dotee collection! Both so detailed and well made!
Love these themed dotees. Mama Cass is so mod!
Both dolls are amazing. Wow. Lovely.
Those are both amazing! I love all the detail on the Ms. Phyllis Latour doll. Her little knitting, the dress, her face! Just truly, Wow! The Cass Elliot doll is so funky and stylish and perfect, too! Love the bright colors. The tambourine and her peace necklace and her hair, and her little shoes…all of it! Awesome!
I received another lovely lady of rock from @Smmarrt for my 60’s music theme! Check out Janis Joplin in her hip, cool glory. I love her little shades!
Thanks so much, Smmart! <3
Ooo, she’s definitely groovy! Those glasses are perfect. I love her hair and the fringe, too!
She’s hip man. And the hair. I can see her singing “Me and Bobby Mcgee” And I love all these famous women themes.
I was singing all the songs while crafting. She’s one of my favorites.
She’s spot on! The way her eyes peek over her glasses. And her jeans?! Love it.
Love Janis!!
I recd an outstanding package from the talented @fluffypants
Look at this friendly whimsical face! So expressive. Plus, look how his head is attached- on a bottle cap. Ingenious!
I love the blue and the slight sparkle to him. And his lovely coordinating dangling beads. He’s gonna look right at home hanging on my shelf.
Some fun goodies too!
Thank you
Wow! Wonderful!
