Getting more organized I found a bunch of jewelry parts and pieces and made a couple of earrings, which I lost the first one, but I made this one a few days ago. I really like it, heh.

After my mom finally let me wear earrings (I think it took me piercing my ear three times before she let me keep it, heh), I began making long chain earrings. I don’t know why, but I always found them fascinating. I had one made of silver in Mexico during…the honeymoon. That one is lost to time, O_o.

Anyway, haven’t worn many over the years and my lower hole was kind of sore. So I got some rubbing alcohol…:no_mouth:…:grimacing:…That felt good (end sarcastic groaning).

One thing I always wanted to do, but was way way waaaay too scared to do, was have a chain going from my nose to my ear to my lower lip. I tried, trust me I tried to pierce my lip and my nose…That wasn’t going to happen, heh.

I like the look. I just need to be careful not to snag my hair in a lot of earring styles because it hurts when they get pulled! I also can’t wear any sort of dangling earrings around the little baby.

Heh, that’s how I lost the first one. I was wearing it when I went to the feedyard a couple weeks ago to do some electrical. Realized I had it on and “put it somewhere I wouldn’t lose it”, :rofl:.

Nice! I’ve been seeing some more body jewelry with chains lately, and I’ve been meaning to grab some. I have quite a few piercings and like to change it up. If you get any irritation, warm sea salt soaks, or mild soap are generally gentler, but that’s up to you!

I’ll have to try that, and it’s more up to my memory and my finances than anything else, heh. Luckily a dabbing of rubbing alcohol every time I put them in seems to be dealing with that. So far it’s only in one hole, not all three (Though I haven’t tried the middle one yet…I’ll do that now…Nope! Only the lower hole twinges a bit).

Heh, I do love my dangly earrings. I want to get some large hoops, too. It’s a darn shame my ears are too close to my shoulders, else I’d wear some reeeeeeeaaaaaallly long ones, heh.
