I made a dragon ornament for @HeroicHatchling in the Ongoing Ornament Swap! I had an original version that my 20 pound cat ate (my fault, I left it out!). Ok, not ate like consumed … he just rips & spits out! First version had a padded belly but i like it all flat like this version better. I used red ribbon for the flames, and wool felt for everything else.

He’s pretty darling! He seems to be breathing fire… sweetly? The last photo looks like an ode to the demise of his predecessor… a pose like cats are rather famous for making. 
Ha! It is a cat yoga pose! LOL
I think i had it open like that to see if i wanted to add another red layer for a padded belly. When I did it on the first version that ended up feeling like a very sad Pete the dragon imitation. It was all belly and very little dragon.
It turned out very cute. I like the touch of the ribbon.
