Dried Flowers

This wool was languishing in my stash due to a dyeing mistake. I didn’t get the color totally set the first time and didn’t want to risk felting the fiber trying to fix it. I know a bit more about dyeing now than I did then, thankfully.

So, I braved the pink staining of my hands (it’s just food coloring), and spun it up. I set the twist and the color at the same time and ended up with this soft, fluffy two-ply in the colors of dried flowers - pink, with shades of brown and yellow.

Ooh! This yarn is so gorgeous! I love the subtle color changes. I’m definitely a yarnie, but I haven’t tried spinning. I feel like I have a million hobbies right now as is, but it is so pretty seeing yarn like this that it almost makes me want to try it.
