Easy Peasy Paper wreaths

I have a bunch of Christmas paper that I wanted to use up so I could stock up after the New Year with more paper when it goes on sale.

I found a simple paper wreath tutorial and made 18 of them while binging on Shakespeare & Hathaway.

Here are samples of what they look like:

I’ll just give them out to random people I see in my weekl.

What a great use for those little bits of wrapping paper that sit there waiting for a little gift to be wrapped around! Make them in to the little gift!

Cute! (& if anyone else is looking at this & wants a non-video tutorial: here’s one.)

Thanks!

I used a dab of glue to make sure the parts did not fall apart. My tip is not to glue anything until you put it together because the first one I screwed up placing the pieces incorrectly and had to toss it! I used a dab of Tombow glue after I was sure I had everything in place.

I like that you can make them with the same papers, mixing papers, adding decorations, etc.

I really liked the scrappy ones the best!

These are so cute…I may have to steal this idea!

Do it! They would make a nice tag for a present or a simple ornament to give out!

I just recommend not using very thick paper as it will “crack” from all the folds. The dark red ones in the last photo were difficult and I had to touch up the “cracks” with a red marker.

Scrap book paper or thick wrapping paper is best.

Also, I just realized that making these was very similar to making those gum wrapper chains. I made one when I was in junior high that was about six feet long! Back when gum came in all colors, 5 sticks to a pack!
