I’ve just picked up some ecoresin materials and had a play with them to learn how it handles. Got a long way to go but I’m loving the journey!
Those trinket dishes are lovely! I’ve never heard of ecoresin. After looking it up, it sounds intriguing. I’ll have to give it a try sometime.
It’s so much fun, but there is a lot of conflicting information out there as there are so many different brands. I found it a little overwhelming. My advice is to pick a brand that is available in your area and only research that one!
These are really great! did you color the ecoresin to makethe designs or are them made some other way, then the ecoresin is added as a protective topcoat?
I’m also very curious to look into ecoresin as an alternative for making water in miniatures.
The ecoresin is the plates and the inlaid circles and the other designs are drawn on after it has cured and then it is all sealed, some with gloss and some with matt sealer. Im not sure it would work well for water? it has a very short cure time and heats up quite a bit whilst setting and isnt clear like normal resin.
Thanks for answering my questions! I was hoping that the ecoresin would be less hot.
WOW very cool!
