I’ve spent the past few months working on my donation bowls for our local Empty Bowl fundraiser in September. I signed up to make fifty bowls, and it was a daunting thought at first for me, as I also didn’t just want to throw a bunch of boring bowls and glaze them boring-ly.
Then I realized I could aim for ten-ish bowls in five different themes that I tend to use in my usual work!
They’re all amazing and what an achievement. So many bowls! I hope they raise lots and lots of money for the cause. Existential crisis frog is still my fave, but any would have an honored place in my kitchen!
You are absolutely amazing!! I love that you broke it down into smaller themed batches. I can’t decide which are my favorite. They are all so unique and beautiful in their own ways.
Every time you post is a little celebration for the eyes!
These bowls are wonderful. I can imaging what they feel like when looking at them. Your color and design choices are great. I keep scrolling back up to take another peek
