My husband has been everybody’s “Dad” at some point, it seems. In particular, all of my daughter’s friends call him Dad (even now) and he’s been Dad to both of my daughters in law when their own fathers have not been able to be there for them. He’s got a soft spot for the kiddos.
But why is he cutting onions?
