I am forever grateful for taking keyboarding/typing in high school. We still used real typewriters! But it’s paidback over and over.

It wasn’t a computer program. We just played it on computer in a chat - started it on Compu$erve back when you paid by the hour to be online and 300 baud was all there was.
Typing wasn’t offered when I went to school. Later I took a course and hated it because they would not allow you to make adjustments to the system because of personal idiosyncrasies. I have very short little fingers. There are keys, by their system, that are meant to be typed with the little finger that are easier to type with the ring finger.
