Extra Large Laundry Tote

I made this laundry tote based on this Sew4home pattern. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any heavy weight interfacing or canvas strapping and I didn’t want order it and wait for it to ship. All fabrics from stash. The exterior fabric is Waverly Williamsburg Bray Flamestitch and the interior is an old cotton sheet. The bag isn’t stiff enough to stand on its own, but once it is partly full, it holds it shape. The colors have grown on me and I now really like how the periwinkle looks with the yellows and browns.

It looks great and it sounds practical!
You did a great job with the materials you had at hand.

Very nice! Sure to be super useful even without the interfacing.

Great bag. And when it’s empty, it will store better! Love it!
