To have some little items for sale for the Studio Tour (we open our ‘studios’ to the community; it’s coordinated/put on by the local arts council - this is my first year doing it), I decided to use my fabric scraps to decorate gift bags.
It’s fabric fused with heat’n’bond and the shapes/quilt blocks were cut with my cricut. The ornament ones actually ended up my favorite, I hot glued the ribbon in a couple hidden places before fusing the shapes to the bags.
I actually stopped vending awhile ago and I hate having inventory of things I’ll never sell, so this was my solution; I can use these gift bags myself if they don’t sell.

These are a really nice way to use scrap fabric! And a great reusable way to package a gift!

So nice and colorful.
The grey ones are my favorite.

I love them! I think the ornament bag (the ones with the baroque prints) are my favourite too. Are the bags paper, and are you using heat’n’bond to fuse fabric to paper? I had no idea that was even possible.

Yes! It works a treat. It’s been a craft we’ve done for quite awhile… Originally, it was to make Christmas gift tags, but fabric with heat’n’bond fuses excellently to any paper product really, cards and gift bags, too!
